FAQ's

How much does a tattoo cost?

The studio minimum is £100. All tattoos are individually quoted and each tattoo is priced based on the design detail, size, placement & time. For an accurate price quote please email Sophie.champart@gmail.com with your tattoo idea, size & placement.

Can I bring someone with me?

The studio is a small private studio so I ask that you attend your appointment alone where possible. If you would like to bring someone with you please let me know in advance, but this MUST be limited to ONE person only due to limited studio space.

Will I see my tattoo design before my appointment?

Your tattoo design won't be ready until the day of your appointment but you will have plenty of time on the day to make changes to it if need to. I won't start tattooing you until you are 100% happy with the design and placement.

How should I prepare for my tattoo session?

EXFOLIATE - Gently exfoliate the area of skin you will be getting tattooed every couple of days.

MOISTURISE- Moisturise your skin every day (EXCEPT the day of your tattoo) to keep your skin hydrated.

HYDRATE- Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water for softer skin to work with.

EAT WELL- Make sure you have a good breakfast the morning of your tattoo to keep the blood sugar levels high to prevent any dizziness or potential fainting.

AVOID SUNBURN- Sunburn inflames and damages your dermis which can affect the tattoo and healing process.

AVOID ALCOHOL- Alcohol thins your blood which can make the tattooing process harder to do and affect the healing.

SHOWER- Shower before your appointment to ensure your skin is free of oils, lotion and dirt.

What should I wear to my appointment?

You should wear loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to the area you'll be getting tattooed. There's a chance ink may get onto your clothes so make sure you wear something you don't mind getting ruined!

ARMS- Baggy short sleeve t-shirt/ tops

LEGS/HIPS- Baggy shorts/trousers/skirt or bikini bottoms

ANKLE/FOOT- Low ankle socks as high ones can leave an imprint in your skin and distort the stencil placement. Avoid wearing trousers that are tight around the ankles.

BACK/RIBS/STERNUM- zip/button up shirt or jacket so you can still be covered but allow full access to the tattooed area. If you wear a bra you will have to take this off as it can get it the way and pull and distort the skin whilst stencilling & tattooing.
